The Oyster Bay Yacht Club marina is located at the confluence of Lanceford Creek and Soap Creek, 2 miles west of downtown Fernandina Beach. From ICW marker R 10 proceed in a westerly direction to Lanceford Creek. Note that the navigation chart shows a shallow bank at the entrance to Lanceford Creek but, there is actually very deep water in the center of that area. Proceed into Lanceford Creek, favoring the starboard side of the creek. Enter the marina between the green and red markers and then favor the marina side of the creek, not the marsh side. Take note of the current as you enter the marina so that you can be prepared for a potentially swift current as you dock.

The Oyster Bay Yacht Club is located within the Oyster Bay Harbour gated community. Groceries are a 15-minute car ride to Publix, Aldi, Walmart, or Winn-Dixie.

It is a 20-minute car ride to Amelia Island and downtown Fernandina Beach where there are numerous hotels, restaurants, and shops to choose from.

Visiting Oyster Bay Yacht Club Restaurant or Marina:

  • Reservations are required for dining (lunch and dinner) and slip usage. 48-hour notice is required for dining reservations.

  • Slip Usage is free for Florida Council of Yacht Clubs member guests for the first night, and $50 plus tax after the first night (this includes shore power, water and pump-out services). A 72-hour notice is required for slip reservations.

  • Fuel is not available.

    Because OBYC is located in a gated community, a decal is required for entry. A temporary decal is required for boaters wanting to exit property and later return to the club. A decal can be obtained from the club office during regular hours of operation.
