Gina and Michael’s wedding day could not have been more perfect. Gina and her girls started off the morning with lots of giggles and mimosas while the bridesmaids were pampered by home hair stylist, Megan Griffis and makeup artist Paulina Perez. Family and Friends arrived at the Oyster Bay Harbor Marina via the Amelia River Cruise, where they felt the ocean breeze and watched the baby dolphins play.
Once they arrived at Oyster Bay, they were greeted by our very own wedding coordinator who led them to the ceremony site. Guest relaxed at the marsh view ceremony site, shaded under the mossy live oak canopies, awaiting the bride’s grand entrance. The comfy but elegant white padded ceremony chairs were provided by Luxe Party Rentals. Bread and Butter kept guest entertained with wonderful melodies that set the perfect mood for the perfect day.
Standing at the alter was Cathy Deets, the family priest, who officiated the ceremony. Michael and his groomsmen looked sharp in tailored black suits and black ties as they made their way to the alter. Gina’s bridesmaids, wearing flowy sage green dresses and carrying bouquets created by Floriade Florist, followed down the aisle. Gina looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle escorted by her father, Joe Pires. Her bridal bouquet was filled with white ranunculus, roses, dusty millers, succulents, as well as peach garden roses, which incorporated her classic earth tone color scheme for her reception.
After the newly weds said their I do’s, their guest headed upstairs for some yummy hors d’oeuvres and bubbly champagne. Mr. and Mrs. Malejko were announced into the reception and went right into their choreographed first dance. After they danced to Perfect by Ed Sheron, the Father of the Bride formally welcomed all their guests to the wedding and their family friend Shawn blessed the food. The Oyster Bay Yacht Club staff welcomed the guest through the buffet for some delicious food including an artisan greens salad, chicken scaloppini marsala, Cajun shrimp and pasta, garlic herb boursin cheese potato whip, gouda mac and cheese, steamed green beans with applewood smoked bacon, sauteed zucchini and squash, and a variety of dinner rolls.
As soon as the guests were done with a plentiful meal, the Best Man and Maid of Honor made a toast to the newly weds and Mr. and Mrs. Malejko cut their scrumptious cake made by Publix. As soon as the two love birds were done cutting the cake, the Oyster Bay Yacht Club staff swept it off to the kitchen to cut and serve to each guest. We kicked off the dance floor with father daughter and mother son traditional dances and the guest danced all night long!
